The weekend we spent in Edinburgh. We took an early train from Euston, London to Central Station in Edinburgh and were accommodated at one of the university's campuses. We left for a tour around the city immediately after settling down. We walked around with Ed Taylor who is the architect of the Prince's Foundation. It was a very cold and rainy day in the middle of the hot English summer. We visited the town centre as well as climbed Calton Hill where a spectacular view over Edinburgh was revealed. Later on we went out for some drinks and to a really nice pub called Royal Oak, which reminded me of the one on Columbia Road in Hackney, London but must admit the one in Scotland was way better.
